My role has Changed now @Goolge

After working as a search quality Engineer for 1 year, i really felt back to move to another team, which is orkut. Its completely different kind of work now on. Started my GRE preparation. Been pretty self-satisfied over last few weeks, don't know why. This a short and sweet post, so bye for now.

Where am i heading to?

Life has been going to fastest than expected, and it's almost an year into Google. There had been few things in my mind when i joined Google, but i have wiped them off completely after joining the company. And now if ask my self had i taken right choice of moving into Google instead of apping for higher studies, i have no answer. But i can say i have learnt lot of things in here, but still not able to be what i want, I still lack the courage to stand up say what i think.

Still i am not able to decide on my higher studies, and i am running very short on making this decision as I have to prepare for GRE, and give it incase the answer is 'yes'. Few things that helped me come to this stage, are again needed now for making my next crucial decision of my life. Not being over confident, having belief on my thoughts, dedication of what i am doing and etc. May this post has more of unprocessed thoughts, i am stoping it for now.

Those days in Mountain View, California

I feel as if last two months passed as a fairly tale in my life, I have landed in US on 29th September, The first sight of the place is the clean and quite roads, in about 45 min i reached my apartment( 800 High School Way, Mountain View). The apartment is great, a funny thing is the doors has auto locks, if i lock myself outside the room i have to shed 75$ to get the room opened.

I went to the Google, Mountain View Office the day after,it is too huge with lot of buildings. I has suffered a bit of jet lag( thanks to swami who alerted me on jet lag). I started my work, and things became normal in matter of few days. I just want to talk about the fun there. First weekend we headed to Great America, an amusement part near Mountain View. Second week just went to wall mart, fry's electronics stores to have a look at prices there. Third week we have gone for Ice Skating at Palo Alto, Visited San Fransisco, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, Exploratorium, down town SFO, etc. Fourth week, the best of all Sky Diving at Accampo(most adventurous sport i have experinced in my life). Fifth week gone to Computer History Museum in Mountian View. Next week again to SFO, Alkatraz. Next to Las Vegas. Last weekend was complete shopping.

The had seen lot more during my stay, which will clear if u visit the above link. I had been a victim for pishing on my paypal account( lucky i realised the mail as pishing email, click here for complete story). Bought Sony Digital Photo frame, Apple Ipod Touch, Samsung Peeble Mp3 player, 4 kgs of choclates, HTC G1(phone that is powered with Adroid ), etc. This is all about my Fairy tale.
